Thank you for making the 2009 Black Tie & Boots Inaugural Ball one of the best ever. Nearly 11,000 revelers danced the night away to the tunes of 20 different music acts. Our guests were entertained by the Wildcat Wranglers and the ever-popular Kilgore Rangerettes, who helped bring a little Lone Star flair to our nation's Capitol.

The Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center was a terrific venue for our Texas-sized event, and we proved that though there's not a Texan in the White House, the Texas spirit in Washington is here to stay. With hundreds of products at the Texas Fair, thousands of quesadillas, meatballs and Bud Lights being served, and guests in ten-gallon hats and boots of all shapes and sizes, there was no mistaking that Black Tie & Boots retained its title as one of the "hottest tickets in town."

A special thank you to Senator John Cornyn, the Texas State Society president, the TSS Board, the Black Tie & Boots event committee and the Webster Group, who worked for months to ensure that January 19, 2009 would be a night for Texans to remember.

Inauguration Day 2009At the Black Tie & Boots Inaugural Ball, an 11" x 14" art print of Inauguration Day was given to all the guests. In addition, a special limited edition 20" x 24" lithograph of Inauguration Day by Austin artist Ray Spivey has been produced to commemorate this historic event. These lithographs are signed and numbered (limited to 500) and only a few are left. To order, please visit www.TexasCapitol.com or call (512) 338-4971.

For our guests interested in purchasing photos of our big night, Reflections Photos' web site is http://www.reflectionsorders.com/view_event.asp?EVENTID=46216. There are hundreds of photos that many will enjoy reviewing, highlighting the night's events. Review all photos by clicking "Photo Categories."

And, if you didn't get a chance to purchase a commemorative Black Tie & Boots t-shirt, it's not too late. A limited number of shirts, with the BT&B logo on the front and a list of all the bands on the back, are still available for $24.95. You can purchase them online at www.wilgravatt.combtb2009shirt.html or by mailing your check to: Gravatt Entertainment, 1701 Fall Hill Avenue, Suite 104A, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. Please include the number of shirts you are requesting and the sizes.

In closing, keep those boots shined for our next Black Tie & Boots Inaugural ball which will be held in January, 2013.

Thank you,

Ed Perez
